Ya'll, everyone does not like okra....



 





 I know, not everyone likes it.  They just don't.  If you do, then you probably love it pickled, fried, stewed with tomatoes, lots of ways.  However, not everyone likes it.  Today for lunch I fried bacon, added my own rendered tallow (yes, I mixed the fats, I really did), added cut okra and salted.  Frying it down until it's crisp and adding just a dusting of this local corn meal.  Or you can grind your own popcorn or use whatever you have on hand.  It doesn't really need anything else, but it's good.  


So, now you know...I like okra.
