Winter vegetable planting...
This is one of our cabbages from last winter. Isn't it beautiful? Everything grows much better during the cool weather. We don't have so many insects to contend with. That makes the harvest much more edible. We also don't have to weed the warm weather weeds. We cultivate as needed to keep oxygen around the roots. This seems to keep them happiest. Feed the soil, don't disturb it and the fruits will come.
