Fall subscriptions start soon....

 Fall subscription season is the best season, really.  We get the last of the fruiting plants until the nights get cooler and they stop blooming, and we get the beginning of the cool weather veggies.  The tomatoes are blooming for the second harvest, the new squash crop is starting to bloom also. 

The broccoli is sprouting as well as a few new lettuce varieties.  Our season this year will run from September 20-November 23.  We will break for Christmas and start again in late winter for the lovely greens and root vegetables.  

With everything going on in the world, the routine of the farm and the growing things help us to remember that life is cyclical and it is still going on...there is nothing new under the sun.
