Butterhead lettuce...

 Lettuce is getting very popular these days.  Especially with the gluten intolerances lately.  People are using the leaves in lieu of bread.  I've seen some really good ideas with splitting the leaf down the middle and folding the ingredients into four sections.  Such creativity out there, you know?  This is buttercrunch.  It is a popular variety of butterhead. Looks like some red sails are mixed in there, too.  Took this pic on a rainy day, so the shade cloth wasn't on there, but did you know that lettuce loves cool weather?
