Reality check...

The aphids/japanese beetles are having a hay day with our red mustard greens.  The lady bugs are not out yet since it is so cold, so there are no predators really to speak of.  This is the cost of natural farming.  It is a sharing of the ecosystem.  So, armed with this knowledge, we plant around 1/3 more of each crop to ensure enough for our members.  Never fear, however, these babies will be recycled to the chickens or livestock in the form of healthy, yummy food.

Until next time.......
