The late winter is still here..



so the produce is looking spectacular.  Not many insects to compete with.  This week we have:

Tended the bees,  the honey is flowing, it looks like a good harvest this summer
Finished up the high tunnel tomato trellises and planting the heirlooms in the ground
Received many meat chickens for early summer harvest
Purchased piglets for harvest at the end of the summer.  They are all munching happily on the daikon radish in their pasture. 
We are still in the process of pruning the orchard trees.  They are putting on fruit.  The peaches look particularly good.  
We had to start cutting the grass this week.  Yep, it is greening up around here.
