Ya'll, it's so dry up here....we've been irrigating for a month....

Seriously, we have been irrigating every day for one solid month.  I don't even want to see our Electric co-op bill for running this well pump.  However, in terms of crop failure, we are so happy we have one.  The water is cold and fresh and no chlorine added.  Feels good to be able to irrigate and not watch the hard work wither up.  We are, however, looking into burying the drip lines to further reduce water evaporation.  I tell you what, we learn something new every single day. Every single day.
